PRA-BHUNew Delhi, March 10: The crisis in Delhi’s ruling AAP worsened on Tuesday as four leaders known  to be near Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday suspect colleagues Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan of trying to defeat the party in the Feb election.

The allegation by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, minister Gopai Rai and Aam Aadmi Party leaders Pankaj Gupta and Sanjay Singh prompted Yadav to mention he hoped the charge would result in an “open, clear dialogue” so the reality prevails.

In a joint statement, the four leaders processed that the AAP National government selected March four to “release” Bhushan and Yadav from the political affairs Committee (PAC) — the party’s highest deciding body — and assign them new responsibilities.

“While all employees were troubled to confirm the party’s victory, the trio – Prashant Bhushan, Yogendra Yadav and Shanti Bhushan – were creating complete efforts for the party’s defeat (in Delhi),” the statement aforesaid.

“The PAC failed to publicise the reasons behind the move because it may affect the senior duo’s name,” it said, in regard to Prashant Bhushan, an AAP founder member and a senior Supreme Court advocate, and Yadav, who is wide seen as a number one political professional. Shanti Bhushan is Prashant Bhushan’s father and conjointly a leading advocate.

“But the way within which an environment has been created that the National government was undemocratic  and irresponsible , and the queries raised within the minds of the AAP activists, we are compelled to present this rationalization,” the statement added .

The statement comes once Maharashtra AAP leader Mayank Gandhi, in his blog, questioned the knowledge of sacking Yadav and Prashant Bhushan from the political action committee after they were able to leave with an honourable exit route.

Gandhi later aforesaid he was being targeted over his remarks.

Welcoming the statement of the four AAP leaders, Yadav said he hoped that it might “end all slander”.

“I welcome the statement by four colleagues. Begins the chance of open, clear dialogue. Truth shall prevail,” Yadav tweeted.

“Hope this statement ends all slander, planting of allegations. Hope no additional coercion of party functionaries and Delhi MLAs on this issue,” he added.

Yadav added  that he hoped that his and Prashant Bhushan’s responses would even be punctually published by the party media.

“Hope the party’s internet site are opened for all volunteer responses,” he said in another tweet.

The AAP secured a sweeping win precisely a month agone, winning sixty seven seats within the 70-member Delhi assembly. The BJP was left with simply 3 seats.
