MUMBAI: The BSE benchmark sensex recovered by nearly 33 points in early trade on Thursday on fresh buying by funds andretail investors amid a firm trend on other Asian bourses following overnight gains on the US markets.
The 30-share index, which had lost 59.92 points in the previous session, recovered by 32.86 points, or 0.16 per cent, to 20,580.48 points in early trade with FMCG, realty, healthcare and oil and gas sector stocks leading the gains.
