NEW DELHI: Gold and silver costs climbed in the Delhi on Saturday on frantic shopping by stockists and jewelry fabricators for the approaching Diwali festival amid firm global cues.
Gold costs gained Rs 170 to Rs 32,570 per 10 gram, whereas silver spurted Rs 450 to Rs 49,900 per kilogram on increased offtake by jewellers and industrial units.
Bullion merchandiser said frantic shopping for by stockists and jewelry fabricators to meet coming festivals like Dhanteras and Diwali mainly LED to rise in precious metal.
