New Delhi, April 28: BJP leader Arun Jaitley Mon defendant Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra of lowering the “quality of political discourse”.

“(Priyanka Gandhi) Vadra has declared that she isn’t fearful of anyone. She has compared the BJP to ‘the frightened rats’… She has down the standard of political discourse by her comments,” Jaitley aforesaid during a web log printed Mon.

“Language provides a facility wherever even sharp comments may be created during a dignified manner,” he said.

Priyanka Gandhi Sunday aforesaid the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was “baffled and was running around like rats”.

Jaitley took a jibe at Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and her husband Robert Vadra, who has been defendant of being concerned during a land scam, and aforesaid they must be afraid as they’re not “above the law”.

“The Vadras ar right that they have not be afraid of anyone. they must solely be afraid of the law. Be the Vadras be ever high, the law is higher than them,” the BJP leader aforesaid.

“Law spares none, be it the made, the far-famed or the connected. If any of my relations started bearing on my opponents as rats and reptiles, I certainly will be a distressed man,” he said.

BJP advocator Nirmala Sitharaman also questioned Sonia Gandhi and Congress vice chairman Rahul Gandhi’s silence over the allegations against Robert Vadra.

“Vadra land deals happened in Congress-ruled Haryana and Rajasthan. Why is the Congress president and vice-president silent on the issue,” Sitharaman aforesaid.

“It isn’t a personal issue, it’s a problem of corruption,” she said.
