Jaipur, April 28: An FIR was lodged here against yoga guru baba Ramdev for his alleged remarks against Dalits, police aforesaid Monday.
“Some people showing newspaper cuttings, lodged a criticism against Ramdev Sunday in Jyoti Nagar police station here. They aforesaid that their sentiments are hurt by Ramdev’s remarks and demanded action against him,” a police officer told.
“We have started work the matter, he said.
Earlier, people happiness to the Dalit community protested against the yoga guru within the town. a number of the angry protestors blackened an advert of Ramdev, shouting slogans against him and stringent his immediate arrest for insulting the community.
Ramdev aforesaid in Lucknow Friday: “He (Rahul Gandhi) goes to Dalits’ homes for honeymoon and picnic. Had he married a Dalit woman, his luck might have clicked and he would became the prime minister.”
Ramdev Saturday apologised and aforesaid he was misinterpreted.
