As another 260 bodies were retrieved from typhoon affected areas, the toll rose from 5,240 to 5,500, according Xinhua citing the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council proclaimed early Wed.
The latest bodies comprise 207 from Tacloban town, forty six from different elements of Leyte invasion province and 7 from nearĀ Samar province.
