Colombo, Feb 13: A Pakistan national has been arrested by Colombo airport customs officers for possessing Indian Rs.1.5 million, media reported.
The man arrived from Karachi by Sri Lankan Airlines’ flight UL184 at Katunayake International airport here at 9.20 p.m. Wednesday, the nation rumored Thursday.
On a tip-off from the central intelligence of the country, officers searched him and located 3 parcels hid on his body.
Customs department voice Leslie Gamini said the department was conducting investigations into the seizure.
