MAJHIDIslamabad, Jan 30: A minimum of fifteen people were reportedly killed and forty harmed in an explosion within a central imambargah — masjid attached with sect Muslims — in Pakistan’s Sindh province Fri.

The imambargah is found in Lakhi Dar space of Shikarpur district and the explosion occurred simply once Fri prayers, Dawn according.

A number of victims were unfree beneath the dust once the roof of the imambargah folded because of the force of the blast.

While describing the incident a failure of the govt, Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) proclaimed a three-day mourning.

Shikarpur senior superintendent of police Saqib Ismail aforesaid that a minimum of forty people were harmed within the blast. He more that the victims were shifted to Civil Hospital Shikarpur.

Sindh information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon aforesaid that emergency had been obligatory in the least hospitals in Shikarpur and close talukas and cities.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, President Mamnoon Hussain, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chairman Imran Khan and Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain issued messages condemnatory the incident.

A bomb disposal squad has been sent to the realm from Sukkur and rescue groups have reached the imambargah wherever the explosion happened.

Speculation prevails that a terrorist could have distributed the explosion.

It was the second major attack on an imambargah within the country since the start of 2015, the primary being an attack on Rawalpindi’s imambargah Aun Mohammad Rizvi within the garrison city’s Chatian Hatian space.
