Lucknow, November 4 The BJP Monday said the rape of a lady from a relief camp housing the Muzaffarnagar riot victims was a “sad reflection” on the Uttar Pradesh government.
Vijay Bahadur Pathak(BJP state spokesman ) accused the Samajwadi Party government of failing to form confidence among the riot-hit victims of Muzaffarnagar.
He said Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav had did not instil the fear of law in the minds of anti-social parts.
A girl living in a relief camp was raped by 2 youth in Muzaffarnagar.
Pathak said the policies of the government had led to a deep rooted religious divide in western Uttar Pradesh.
