With the railways unable to fund bullet trains, the state-owned transporter is working on working semi-high pace trains with marginal improvisation to present infrastructure.

“a large amount of money is required to succeed in speeds of over 300 kmph. we’ve decided to run trains at 16o-200 kmph as the cost will be so much decrease,” railway board chairman Arunendra Kumar mentioned.
