Andhra Pradesh power utilities expect to partly restore electricity supply in the cyclone-hit Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts of the state by tonight.
“All efforts are being created {to provide|to offer|to produce} power supply by midnight in parts of Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam,” an energy department official said on Tuesday.
“We expect by time of day power supply be repaired to some parts in these 3 districts,” he said. Power offer was discontinuous because of the devastation caused by cyclonic storm Hudhud in Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts on Andhra’s coastline on Sunday last.
