sisodiaNew Delhi, Jan 2: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has the “moral mandate” to rule the capital, Delhi Minister Manish Sisodia aforesaid Thursday, moving the necessary trust motion within the assembly

“Our party already has the moral mandate, that has been given to us by people of Delhi,” Sisodia same.

“We have shaped the govt., however we faced a dilemma – we got 28 seats and we were short of a majority. However, we tend to had the ethical responsibility to form the govt.,” the minister said.

“We visited the people and asked what they thought – and they told us to form the govt.,” he added.

Ending the “VIP culture” in Delhi, and transfer a powerful Lokpal is among the priorities of the AAP government, Sisodia said.

He also said the govt. needed to regularise contractual employees, improve colleges, hospitals, and can oppose FDI in retail.

The Aam Aadmi Party took power Sat on the strength of its 28 seats in the 70-member Delhi assembly. The Congress, with eight legislators, has declared its support to the Kejriwal government.

The Bharatiya Janata Party, with 32 members, is the single largest party in the assembly elections to that were held Dec 4.
