pmNew Delhi, Jan 3: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh aforesaid Fri that the UPA government can attempt to erupt the 5 or six anti -corruption bills that ar unfinished in parliament and build an atmosphere conducive for the bills to be passed.

“We can try to usher in the 5 or six anti -corruption bills that ar in parliament and can attempt to produce an atmosphere in parliament so the bills are passed and our fight against corruption is taken forward. it’ll be our since effort. The women’s reservation bill also happens to be one bill in parliament,” he aforesaid back to a question at his press conference.

The UPA government brought the right to information Act, a major anti-corruption measure, in 2005 and cleared the Lokpal and Lokayukta Bill in the winter session of parliament last Dec.

The other anti-corruption measures pending in parliament include the right of voters for time-bound delivery of products and services and also cowl areas of public procurance, foreign graft, judicial accountability and protection for whistleblowers.
