Mainpuri/Agra, Sept 17: Samajwadi Party employees in Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri and Saifai Tues celebrated the success of party candidates in assembly byelections.
The party created a surprising comeback in Uttar Pradesh because it won eight of the eleven assembly seats that went for byelections.
Party employees burst fire-crackers, distributed sweets, and danced on the streets.
In Mulayam Singh Yadav’s village Saifai, villagers distributed sweets and danced to greet Tej Pratap Singh, who won from the Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat.
In Agra, Mathura and Firozabad too, sweets were distributed as party employees danced on the streets.
