Panipat (Haryana), Jan 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Thursday launched the ‘Sukanya Samridhi Yojana’ which can alter parents to open bank accounts of girls beneath ten years older.
Giving away the passbooks and alternative documents to 5 little girls throughout the operate to launch the nationwide ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ (save girl kid and educate her) campaign from Panipat in Haryana, the prime minister aforesaid the Sukanya Samridhi Yojana was aimed at providing Social Security for girls.

Urging people to plant 5 trees to celebrate the birth of a girl kid, Modi aforesaid the family will cut the trees once the girl is to induce married.
“This can help in covering the cost of the wedding,” he said.
