GOOD-FRIDAYNew Delhi, April 03: Christians within the national capital ascertained Good Friday, that marks the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, with prayers and fasts.

“This day signifies the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the Cross for the sake of forgiveness of our sins. These days we mourn and live over in prayers the suffering Jesus Christ went through before being crucified,” Braden Silveira, an engineer.

Annie Johnny, 27, said that many Christians hand over things of their feeling like alcohol and non-vegetarian food for forty days.

“We break the fast solely when attending the evening mass,” Johnny told.

According to Father Furtado the evening mass is command at three p.m. and it’s sees the most group action.

“This time is vital because we believe that it’s once Jesus Christ died,” he said.
