New Delhi, Jan 19: Congress leader and former UPA minister Krishna Tirath is likely to join the BJP following her meeting with its president Monday.
After meeting Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah Monday, Tirath said: “My role within the party (BJP) would be determined by the president. however my mandate remains public service.”
The former minister for women and kid development within the United Progressive Alliance (UPA-II) government was elective to the fifteenth Lok Sabha from Delhi on a Congress ticket once defeating BJP’s Meera Kanwaria.
