New Delhi, Aug 14: The Congress on Friday said the monsoon session of parliament, that over on Thursday, showed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) doesn’t believe democracy, and blamed the ruling party for the logjam that stalled business within the virtually four-week session.
Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad, in a news conference here, said the parliament session proved that the BJP didn’t believe agreement and democracy.
Holding the BJP liable for the parliament logjam, he said the ruling party didn’t need the house to run.
Azad conjointly said the party is “intoxicated” with power.
No major legislative business can be transacted in either house of parliament since July twenty one once parliament convened until August thirteen once it adjourned sine die.
