New Delhi, March 26: The Congress-led UPA can win the Lok Sabha election despite opinion polls, Congress president Sonia Gandhi aforesaid Wednesday.
Gandhi told the media that election-eve opinion polls had been well-tried repeatedly wrong.
“In 2004 it was aforesaid that the Congress story is finished,” she said. “But the story of the Congress continuing.
“Similarly, in 2009, it was aforesaid we are going to lose however we won. we also got a bigger variety of seats…
“So i’m quite assured that we will had best (now too). Our people are ready to fight, and we will win.”
