New York, June 4: Executives from the sinking micro-blogging web site Twitter have met Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer to debate merger prospects, the media reported.

On the management meeting, Twitter and Yahoo executives spent a number of hours hashing out Yahoo’s financials and whether or not a strategic combo may make sense, a supply near the talks informed the New York Post on Friday.
