Mumbai:A benchmark index of Indian equities markets was commerce flat at twenty 4.24 points or 0.12 % down in pre-noon trade Tuesday.
Some positive buying was determined in healthcare and fast moving commodity (FMCG) sectors whereas selling pressure was seen in metal and auto sectors.
The 30-scrip sensitive index (Sensex) of the S&P bombay stock exchange (BSE), that opened at twenty,510.31 points, was commerce at twenty,466.72 points in the pre-noon session, down 24.24 points or zero.12 p.c from previous day’s shut at twenty,490.96 points.
The Sensex touched a high of twenty,584.22 points and a coffee of twenty,402.99 points throughout trade thus far.
The S&P BSE tending index gained sixty nine.54 points and FMCG index went up by thirty two.50 points, whereas metal index slipped by 111.14 points and auto index shed seventy nine.92 points.
The wider 50-scrip great of the National stock exchange (NSE) was commerce marginally up at 4.20 points or 0.07 % up at 6,083 points.
