New Delhi, Oct 04: President Pranab Mukherjee Sat condoled the loss of lives within the stampede, once the burning of the Ravana image, in Patna Fri and wanted a speedy recovery to those cut.
In his message to Bihar governor D.Y. Patil, the president said: “I am saddened to be told regarding the accident within which a number of persons have lost their lives and a few were cut throughout the stampede in Dussehra celebrations.”
“I decision upon the state government and alternative agencies to produce all possible aid to the sorrowing families, who have lost their close to and expensive ones as well as medical facilities to the injured ,” Mukherjee additional.
He any said: “Kindly convey my dear condolences to the relations of the deceased. I pray to the Almighty to convey them the strength and bravery in-tuned this irreparable loss.I would like speedy recovery to the injured persons”.
Thirty-three people, together with girls and youngsters, died within the stampede that happened at the Gandhi Maidan in Patna Fri evening following rumours that a live high-voltage wire had fallen to the ground.
