New Delhi, Sep 15: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday greeted people on Engineers’ Day, saying engineers play an anchoring role within the creating of a nation.
Engineers’ Day marks the birth anniversary of the country’s celebrated engineer M. Visvesvaraya.
“Greetings to my engineer friends on Engineer’s Day. Tributes to Bharat Ratna M. Visvesvaraya on his birth anniversary,” the prime minister aforesaid in a tweet.
He additional that through innovation, hard work and leading edge research, “our engineers have contend an anchoring role within the creating of our nation”.
“I would like our engineers the easiest and decision upon them to still apply their skills to serve our nation and create our engineering world category,” he said.
Visvesvaraya was born Sep 15, 1860.
