New Delhi, Jan 4: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal aforesaid Saturday that he won’t be moving into the five-bedroom duplex government flat here, and has instead asked for a smaller house.
“I will not shift to the five-bedroom duplex flat. I have received lots of messages and phone calls from the people of Delhi and some of my close relatives suggesting me to not accept such a big accommodation,” said Kejriwal outside the Constitution Club here before attending AAP’s national govt meeting.
“I want the govt. to provide a smaller accommodation,” aforesaid Kejriwal, adding that he can work from his gift office-cum-residence located in Kaushambi, close to the capital, till then.
The Delhi chief minister has been assigned 2 five-bedroom duplex flats on Bhagwan Das Road, one of which is to be used as his office.
