Srinagar, November seventeen :Authorities Sunday placed senior separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani beneath confinement here.
A spokesperson of the Hurriyat cluster headed by Geelani aforesaid security forces told the separatist leader he cannot move out of his uptown Hyderpora residence.
Geelani has been spearheading an anti-poll campaign ever since confinement restrictions on him were upraised October twenty nine this year.
He was regular to handle another of his anti-election rallies in north Jammu and Kashmir Palhalan city of Baramulla district Sunday.
