Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express catches fire, no casualty reported

rajdhani_fire_dharbangaexpressMORIGAON: a significant fire bust out in the New Delhi-bound Rajdhani express close to Daramtul train station in Morigaon district of Assam early Tuesday.
No casualty has been reported. The fire was place at around 4.30am, a fire broke out in the kitchen room and engulfed the rail. The train was then stoped at Dharamtul station.

Trains on the Guwahati railway track were stopped for three hours, police and railway sources said.

Fire man fought for 2 hours to douse the flame, the sources said.

The railway track was cleared at 8am once the fire was completely doused however the train was still in the station, they said.

Senior railway officers have rushed to the spot.
