Delhi Metro to halt services at 8 pm on Diwali

Delhi_metroNew Delhi November 1: Delhi metro will stop services at 8 pm on Sunday on account of Diwali, said an officer release on Friday.

The last of metro train on Sunday will begin at 8 pm from the terminal stations of all the six lines – Dilshad Garden-Rithala, Jahangirpuri-HUDA city center, Noida town Centre-Dwarka Sector-21, Yamuna Bank-Vaishali, Inderlok-Mundka and Central Secretariat-Badarpur metro station.

“Metro train services will run as usual for rest of the day on Dipawali from 6 a.m. onwards.

The Delhi metro will keep 2 extra standby trains on each line to handle the traveller rush on the occasion of Bhai Duj on November 5, if required.

Metro train services on the airport express line will be available from 4.45 am to 11.30 pm on 5th november.
