Looks like controversy’s favourite child Poonam Pandey is all set to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Mallika Sherwat, Yana Gupta, Rakhi Sawant and Mumaith Khan, among others. Sources say that Poonam is the latest Bollywood import to sign up for an item number in a Kannada film. The song, for the film called Love is Poison, features hero Rajesh. “It’s a very colloquial number, to be shot against a dhaba kind of set. It will feature the hero and a couple of his friends celebrating the hero’s love life. Poonam heard the song before agreeing to do it. She seems excited to be making her debut in Sandalwood,” says the film’s director Nanda Prabhu.
