Item queen Gauhar Khan and telly actor Kushal Tandon are the latest lovebirds on Bigg Boss. Their PDA on the show has become the official romance of the season.
In fact, show host Salman Khan’s special episode, Salman Ka Wow, not just spotted the brewing romance between the two but also tried to make the couple blush.
Salman sent a special red couch for the two sit on. To spice up the show, Bigg Boss announced a special task that required Kushal take Gauhar out on a date. The two narrated their ” experience” of going on a date, which according to Gauhar, ” was a little embarrassing”. ” We chat almost all throughout the day, so we had nothing to speak of when we were asked to go on a date. It was a little awkward,” Gauhar told Salman.
Each season, a new couple paints the house red on Bigg Boss.
Last season, starlet Sana Khan and TV actor Vishal Karwal were touted as the romantic couple inside the house. However, their romance could not take off because Vishal got evicted early.
In season 4, Pakistani model Veena Mallik and actor Ashmit Patel came into prominence as the hot couple inside the Bigg Boss house. Their PDA clearly indicated they wanted to highlight their romantic link. Rahul Mahajan, on Bigg Boss 2 , increased the audience’s interest by presenting a love- triangle of sorts between him, starlet Payal Rohatgi and gangster Abu Salem’s ex- flame Monica Bedi.
German model Claudia Ciesla and former Mr India Pravesh Rana were the ‘ it’ couple in season 3 but their lack of chemistry failed to muster viewers’ interest.
The romance between the two made the audience sit up and take notice, adding to the ratings of the show.
Romantic liaisons have always been a hit on Bigg Boss . Gauhar and Kushal can vouch for a longer stay as long as they continue to whisper sweet nothings to each other in front of the cameras.
The ‘ love’ trend started on Bigg Boss 1 with model Anupama Verma and struggling actor Aryan Vaid.
