Mumbai, March 13: producer Madhur Bhandarkar, who is functioning on the dates for his next film “Madamji”, starring Priyanka Chopra, laments that post the 2008 “Fashion”, he could not work with her because of a lack of a “great subject”.
Priyanka won the National Award for the best actress for her performance in “Fashion”, that also starred Kangana Ranaut.
“Priyanka (Chopra) and i have been discussing the script. Priyanka is very excited regarding the topic of ‘Madamji’. The film’s subject is extraordinary. we forever wished to figure along post ‘Fashion’, sadly we ne’er discovered a good subject,” the producer told reporters here in an interview Wed.
“Now we are figuring out on dates and supply and if everything falls in situ, then we’ll definitely create the film with her,” he added.
“Madamji” is rumoured to be based on an item girl who turns politician. Bhandarkar’s last film “Heroine” marked Kareena Kapoor.
