Gurgaon, Aug 20: Budget airline SpiceJet Wed reported that its domestic market share has increased to twenty one p.c in July 2014, taking its ranking to the second largest traveler carrier.
According to the corporate, its traveler ratio within the month below review grew to 79.4 p.c in July from 67.9 p.c within the corresponding month of last year.
“Our increase in hundreds and share is the results of our new network, improved branding and product, and most significantly, our dynamic evaluation and revenue management approach wherever we believe flying empty seats, that is the final decayable goods, may be a waste particularly for budget airlines,” aforesaid Sanjiv Kapoor, chief operative officer (COO), SpiceJet.
