Mumbai, May 17: Nita Ambani, wife of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani, is ready to join the board of India’s largest private company, it was announced Fri. The stockholder approval are wanted at the annual general meeting here June 18.
The company’s board has suggested her appointment, replacement Ramnik H. Ambani, the elder brother of the group’s late chairman Dhirubhai Ambani, who retires at the age of ninety years, having served it since origination.
