TEXTILEBangalore, Aug 20: Textile company Arvind Tuesday forayed into e-commerce space with its clothing whole Creyate and is targeting revenue of over Rs.1,000 crore in 3 years, a company official same.

“We aim to be a Rs.1,000-crore business in 3 years and revolutionise fashion and retail across the country with our new on-line custom clothing brand Creyate,” Arvind group’s executive director Kulin Lalbhai told reporters here.

Asserting that the new initiative would drive growth, he aforesaid by e-retailing its innovative brands, the corporate had supposed to become a number one shopper lifestyle player even in digital space by engaging business models that may be scaled globally.

“Breaking away from norms, labels and quick-fixes, Creyate strives to bring a fashion identity that’s distinctive, as clothes will be created on a 3D visualisation engine,” Lalbhai aforesaid.

With regarding 100,000 product to form, the whole aims to be ensuing generation of fashion retail, as Creyate can supply an alternate to ready-wear and ancient custom clothing and be a Rs.100-crore and brand by 2015.

Besides its premium brands, Creyate has assortment of materials from Italian mills.

“We have endowed in an automatic producing set-up for this business to form best-in-class customized clothes as per customer’s alternative and measurements,” Lalbhai noted.

A client will walk to the garment and scan the QR code, because the same garment can seem on screen, able to be worked upon as per the individual’s alternative.

The company plans to launch Creyate stores in fifteen cities across the country within the next twelve months, together with Bangalore, Ahmedabad and New Delhi.

As one of the largest integrated textile and apparels firm, the $1-billion (Rs.6,000 crore), the group’s flagship company has a portfolio of owned  and authorized  brands and retail formats.
