Dubai, Nov twenty nine A five-day International Koodiyattam and Kathakali pageant (IKKF), showcasing the traditional and extremely structured classical humanities of Kerala, began in metropolis Thursday, a media report aforesaid.
The seventh edition of Kerala’s classical arts pageant is being control at the GEMS Wellington International faculty in Dubai, The National reported on its web site.
This year, the festival’s highlight is Nalacharitham, a performance by Kathakali dancers of the story of Nala, king of Nishadha, and Damayanti, his wife, that forms associate degree episode within the epic Mahabharata.
Well-known Kathakali dancer Kalamandalam Gopi can perform on the fifth day of the pageant.
