Jakarta, Aug 14: Top Indian doubles shuttlers Jwala Gutta and Aswini Ponnappa were knocked out of the women’s doubles quarterfinals at the world Championships here on Fri.
The 13th seeds lost 23-25, 14-21 in forty six minutes to unseeded Japanese pair of Naoko Fukuman and Kurumi Yonao at the 9,000-seater Istotara Senayan.
