Airtel features in Africa’s top ten most admired global brands

airtelJOHANNESBURG: AirtelBSE -0.87 which there is the sole telecommunication company from Bharat that includes on the list of high 10 international brands loved most in continent, as per a survey.

Airtel was placed at 9th on the list, beating Japanese auto manufacturer Honda, the survey conducted by the African Business Awards aforementioned.

The list was headed by US-based Coke, and dominated by different America and European brands, the sole different Asian brands were Japan’s Toyota and Samsung physical science of Choson.

Except for Samsung that grew its complete value year-on-year by 121 per cent, Airtel’s thirty per cent brand price increase was higher than any of the others within the high 10, as well as that of leader Coke, that grew simply twenty seven per cent.

The brand valuation relies on calculable proportion of revenue that the parent company attributes to the brand on the African continent.

Airtel is India’s largest telecommunication company with 192.22 million subscribers as of August-end. the corporate had a market capitalization of Rs one.28 hundred thousand large integer as on Oct one.

The only different telecoms company on the list, in fourth position, was Vodafone, that operates in more African countries than Airtel will.

African Business magazine launched the African Business Awards.
