Brussels: Indian President Pranab Mukherjee arrived in national capital Wed night at the beginning of a six-day official visit to Europe. He’s visiting Kingdom of Belgium and Turkey.
Mukherjee was received by Belgian King Philippe and Queen Mathilde at the military landing field of Melsbroek.
The president is followed by female offspring Sharmistha Mukherjee and a politician delegation that features Union Shipping Minister G.K. Wasan, five MPs, 3 vice chancellors, academician Ved Prakash, chairman, University Grants Commission (UGC) and senior foreign ministry officers.
