New Delhi, Oct 2, 2016: Modi pays tribute to Gandhi and Shastri. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri at Rajghat and Vijay Ghat respectively on their beginning anniversaries.

The Prime Minister remembered the 2 leaders for the values they championed.

“Gandhi ji made this world a greater place. His beliefs, dedication to the poor and battle towards injustice encourage,” Modi stated in a tweet as Modi pays tribute to Gandhi and Shastri.

October 2 is the delivery anniversary of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi who’s also called the “Father of the Nation” and Lal Bahadur Shastri, the second Prime Minister of the nation when Modi pays tribute to Gandhi and Shastri.
