FIRTirupati, April 01: BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi aforesaid that the FIR engaged against him in Gujarat shows the panic within the Congress.

Addressing an election meeting Wednesday night in this temple city in Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh, he aforesaid that the Congress was watching defeat. “They are disquieted because a tea seller has challenged their sept,” he said.

The Gujarat chief minister aforesaid he wouldn’t forget Apr 30 as for the primary time in his life, a FIR was registered against him.

“Not one FIR was registered against me. i was not even engaged for driving a scooter on the incorrect facet or for wrong parking,” he said

“One will perceive if an FIR is registered for showing a knife, handgun or a gun however i was engaged because I showed a lotus,” Modi aforesaid.

The Bharatiya Janata Party leader was engaged for showing off his party image near a polling booth in Gandhinagar wherever he voted.

Opposition parties, as well as the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party, complained that this profaned the model code of conduct. On the urging of the poll panel, the Gujarat authorities filed a police complaint against Modi.
