ACIDHyderabad, Jan 07: A minimum of twelve passengers were killed and forty were injured  once a bus fell down in a hilly space in Andhra Pradesh’s Anantapur district Wed, police aforesaid.

The accident occurred Wed morning between Penukonda and Madakasira in Anantapur district, about 450 km from here.

The toll might go up because the condition of thirteen of the injured  is declared to be vital.

The bus happiness to the state-owned Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) was continuing from Madakasira to Penukonda once the driver reportedly lost management of the vehicle whereas trying to avoid hit an auto-rickshaw.

According to eye-witnesses, the bus fell and fell into a ghat space within the hills regarding fifteen km from Penukonda city.

Police and civil officers rush to the spot and launched rescue and relief work. The wounded were shifted to hospitals in Penukonda, Anantapur and Bangalore.

Most of these killed are students. They additionally embody 2 women and a police constable.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed shock and grief over the accident. He directed ministers from the region to rush to the scene and supervise relief operations.
