New Delhi, June 8: Actress Kalki Koechlin experimented along with her pizza-making expertise on the launch of a brand new PizzaExpress restaurant right here on Wednesday.

Current on the launch of the restaurant at meals place Epicuria at Nehru Place in south Delhi right here, Kalki advised : “We’ve plenty of junk meals type of pizzas and quick meals type of pizzas on the market. However only a few locations have genuine pizzas.

“In Italy, you’ll be able to style every ingredient. Be it the tomatoes, cheese or the basil, you may style all of it. Right here, we style the cheese and sauce, and you actually do not know what all is there in your pizza.”

Kalki, who’s half French, shared that she was taught how you can make pizza from scratch by her mom.

“I do know how one can make pizza. My mom used to show me… She would make pizzas from scratch. Earlier, again within the day, you did not get lasagne right here (in India), so she used to make the lasagne strips, dry them out within the sun. She is a professional. I understand how to make it, however not (do not make it) a lot now,” the 32-year-old stated.
