New Delhi, Nov 25, 2016: SC will hear challenge to demonetisation on December 2. The Supreme Court will hear on December 2 the problem to the constitutional validity of the demonetisation resolution and the inconvenience triggered to the individuals attributable to it.

A bench of Chief Justice T.S. Thakur and Justice D.Y. Chandrachud initially mentioned it could first maintain a listening to on the inconvenience faced by the general public and steps taken to deal with them as SC will hear challenge to demonetisation on December 2.
It mentioned that listening to on the validity of the observe ban might happen later. The the apex court later agreed to hold listening to on each the facets.
