Sultry Tuesday in DelhiNew Delhi: It was a warm and humid Tuesday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded four notches above the season’s average at 24.8 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast clear day ahead.

“The day will remain clear with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

Humidity at 8:30 a.m. stood at 82 percent.

Monday’s maximum temperature settled a notch above the season’s average at 34.5 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded three notches above average at 24.3 degrees Celsius.
