found.deadVISAKHAPATNAM: Bodies of 2 defence personnel were found beneath suspicious circumstances on the railway tracks falling beneath Pendurty train station (PRS) limits of geographic area Railways (ECoR) here on Sunday morning.

On being informed by railway trackmen, Government Railway Police (GRP) at Visakhapatnam train station instantly reached the spot. Following enquiries, one among the deceased was known as KK josh, 34, chief engineering artificer (CERA) at construction Centre, a unit of ministry of defence at the eastern naval Command (ENC) premises here. the opposite was known as Abhish Shivam, 33, a chief engineer functioning at INS Arihant, India’s initial nuclear submarine.

While Josh, a resident of Kakani Nagar close to the airport, was a native of Kozhikode, Shivam belonged to Ernakulam district in Kerala and was living at the Navy quarters at Dolphins Hills. each of them were denote within the town 3 years ago.

The GRP team together with a dog squad and fingerprint team scouted the area round the tracks and picked up clues. whereas GRP cops maintained that a case was registered and awaiting the postmortem report from King george Hospital, relatives of the deceased and also the leaders of Kerala Kala Samiti (KKS) alleged that the deaths perceived to be beneath suspicious circumstances and demanded that the police instantly launch a high-scale probe into the incident.

GRP circle inspector A Parthasaradhi told TOI that they’d not seen any suspicious marks on the bodies of the 2 close to the railway tracks. “As on Sunday, we filed a case and sent the bodies for postmortem at KGH. we’ve to attend for the report before creating any statement,” Parthasaradhi said.

Relatives and locals, however, raised suspicion over the incident, stating that there have been no visible injuries on the bodies to point out that that they had come back beneath a passing train. Suspicion was additionally raised that the 2 had been attacked elsewhere and their bodies thrown close to the tracks.

GRP officers said there have been no suspicious marks on the bodies. however the victims’ kin said there have been no visible injuries to point out that they had been run over by a train.
