White House condemns Dhaka terror assault

Washington, July 3 : The White House on Saturday condemned the terrorist assaults carried out by Islamic State (IS) terrorists in Dhaka, Bangladesh, through which 20 individuals have been killed, together with an American and Indian citizen.

White House“We stay involved with Bangladeshi authorities and have supplied any help essential,” Politico.com quoted White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest as saying.

“Our deepest condolences exit to the households and family members of these killed, and we hope for a speedy restoration for these wounded,” a press release from the White House continued.

“This can be a despicable act of terrorism, and the US stands with Bangladesh and the worldwide group in our resolve to confront terrorism wherever it happens,” the assertion added.

All of the attackers within the assault on a restaurant in Dhaka have been Bangladeshi residents and 5 of them have been wished by police.

Police Inspector General Shahidul Hoque advised CNN that police had tried to arrest these 5 militants beforehand.
