New Delhi, May 4 : Accepting the challenge from the BJP on new revelations concerning to the AgustaWestland chopper agreement, Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Wed added “they are most welcome” to explain it.
On being told that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to head up with fresh revelations on AgustaWestland deal, Gandhi cleared: “They are most welcome.”
Defence Minister Manohor Parrikar will explain a statement in the Rajya Sabha at 2 p.m. on Wed during a hot discussion on AgustaWestland issue.
The Congress went into a huddle on Tuesday to plan out a strategy ahead of the defence minister’s official word.
Senior Congress leaders went to Sonia Gandhi‘s home in the evening to discuss in details how to combat the BJP in parliament on the issue.
