New Delhi, Feb 18: Budget passenger carrier SpiceJet Wed declared that it’ll operate new flights and increase frequencies in its new summer schedule effective from March twenty nine.
According to the airline, it’ll increase frequencies on routes like Delhi and Amritsar, Bangalore and Mangalore, Mumbai and Jabalpur and Delhi and Jabalpur amongst others.
“The new frequencies on the domestic sectors mirror our confidence that future growth and worth lies in providing a lot of property to non-metros and tier two cities,” aforesaid Sanjiv Kapoor, chief operative officer, SpiceJet
On the international front, the airline aforesaid that it’ll introduce new daily flights to Dubai from Amritsar and Mangalore, taking its total service to Dubai to seven flights daily.
“The new flights to Dubai are a reflection of our success in this market, and can use all of our out there traffic rights to the town,” Kapoor aforesaid.
The company is also giving “extra legroom” economy category seats called SpiceMAX on all of the new flights.
The company aforesaid that as a part of the new schedule it’s suspending services to 6 cities, particularly Aurangabad, Belgaum, Indore, Lucknow, Surat and Trivandrum.
The airline added that services to those cities could resume at a later date as SpiceJet adds a lot of aircraft to its fleet.
