“President Pranab Mukherjee has appointed Justice Narayanan Nadar Paul Vasanthakumar because the chief justice of the Jammu and Kashmir high court,” a politician statement aforesaid here.
“The appointment is in exercise of powers bestowed by section ninety five of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir and can be effective from the date he assumes charge of his workplace,” it said.
