New Delhi, Jan 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Fri paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 67th death anniversary.
“My tributes to Pujya (respected) Bapu,” he tweeted.
Gandhi was dead by Nathuram Godse in 1948 at Birla House. The building, placed within the heart of Delhi, has since been converted into a museum, and is understood as Gandhi Smriti.
Modi additionally paid tribute to those who arranged down their lives for the country.
“On Martyrs’ Day, I pay homage each} & every martyr who arranged his or her life for our nation. Their bravery & courageousness can forever inspire,” Modi aforesaid in another tweet.
