Bangalore/Chennai, Dec 15: An Infosys worker is among the over thirty people that were taken hostage Monday by a gunman in a cafe in Australia’s Sydney town.
“We will ensure that one Infosys worker is among the hostages at the Lindt cafe in Sydney. we also are within the method of confirming the whereabouts of all our different staff within the town,” Infosys aforesaid in statements issued in Bangalore and Chennai.
“We are in constant bit with the native authorities and Indian consulate in Sydney for updates on things on ground.”
It side that the family of the worker has been educated and “we are extending all possible support to them during this tough time”.
“We hope that this situation gets resolved peacefully and at the earliest. Our prayers are with the families of all involved.”
